Yesterday Xiaomi announced the date of its next (major) product launch. It will take place on September 15th† We tried to make some assumptions about what the Chinese manufacturer might present, and maybe we didn’t go that far.
The confirmation even comes from new rumors about the imminent launch of a Mi 11T Series† And the proof is starting to come too: two 11T models have been spotted on the websites of a number of European retailers.
Among other things, the fact that Xiaomi is about to leave the “Mi” brandit means that the new models could just be called “Xiaomi 11T”.
Xiaomi 11T should be available in 8/128 GB and 8/256 GB configurations, priced at 746 and 778 euros respectively. Three colors are listed: Moonlight White, Meteorite Gray and Celestial Blue.
Then there should be the Xiaomi 11T Pro, available in 8/128 GB and 8/256 GB versions with prices of 896 and 929 euros. This model offers the same color choice, although images are not available at this time.
Following the rumors of recent days, the 11T Pro should keep the Snapdragon 888 of the original Mi 11 series, while the base 11T will integrate a MediaTek chipset (probably the Dimensity 1200).
The Pro model is expected to include Xiaomi’s 120W wired fast charger. The base model will have a 64 Megapixel main camera, an 8 Megapixel ultra wide-angle camera and a 3x telephoto macro camera. The T family is expected to keep the original series’ 120 Hz AMOLED displays.
