Two years of R&D for vivo v1
The V1 Imaging Chip is the result of a 24-month development phase and the work of 300 people from the R&D department and experts from the vivo imaging laboratory. In the near future, vivo’s approach to innovative chip-level imaging technology (IP) will focus primarily on four strategic assets: imaging system, operating system, industrial design, and performance.
In addition, from 2019, vivo has started to match design-driven and user-centric innovation with the ever-changing demands of consumers. Since then, it has engaged talents from all over the world to implement a dynamic development strategy. Based on user feedback, vivo will focus on product and technical planning, as well as preliminary technical research, to find a balance between products and technology. The vivo Central Research Institute will be responsible for planning the technologies, which will be tailored to consumer demands, industry trends and use cases.
The goal for the next 10-20 years is to create advanced products from the design stage to build a bridge between people and the digital world.
