A short distance from the Google Pixel 6 release some renderings of the successor, or the Pixel 6a, have already surfaced on the web† It will most likely be a cheaper edition of the company’s flagship smartphone.
The Pixel 6a wants a midrange device but with a design very similar to that of the standard version† As usual, the back will feature the classic white glass color with a black bar housing the cameras. One can be seen from the front 6.2 Flat OLED Screen, with central hole and fingerprint reader. There will be no headphone jack.
If we now know everything about the Pixel 6a in terms of hardware, then the technical specifications are not yet clear. Currently, the most popular hypothesis is that of the presence of a Tensor chip power comparable to that of a Snapdragon 778G, along with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage† The main camera, on the other hand, should be the same as the Pixel 6, i.e. a Samsung ISOCELL GN1 50MP†
The smartphone is expected to hit the market in early 2022.
