In the Italian panorama, we know Oppo for its Find X3 range available in Lite, Neo and Pro versions, or for its entry-level phones with a particularly aggressive price, such as theOppo A94† The company has today expanded its range with two new smartphones from the name Reno 6 and Reno 6 Pro.
Both models are all betting on the video package with professional portrait mode, real-time bokeh display and a special real-time focus tracking function. Not only that, they are 5G compatible, offer a custom ColorOS interface and have a fairly similar design. Let’s discover it together!
Oppo Reno 6
Despite the name, it has two unique video features that the Reno 6 Pro lacks. The first is a portrait mode that, thanks to AI technology, can display everything around the subject in black and white. The second is a super slow motion video mode which shoots up to 960 frames per second at 720p.
Otherwise we are dealing with a classic smartphone with a thin (7.59 mm) and light (183 g) design and an anti-fingerprint coating. The OLED screen displays a diagonal of 6.43 inches for an FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. It is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The photographic department shows three sensors, a main 64 megapixel, a secondary (ultra wide angle) 8 megapixel and a 2 megapixel macro. On the front is the selfie camera with a 32 Megapixel lens.
In terms of technical specifications, we can count on a SoC size 900a 4300 mAh battery (65W fast charge), 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage.
Oppo Reno 6 Pro

Reno 6 Pro proposes the specifications of its little brother, but stands out for the presence of a 6.55-inch curved screen and an increased thickness that reaches 7.99 mm.
The photographic department is adding a sensor for a total of four. The main one is from 50 Megapixel, the ultra wide angle from 16 Megapixel, the macro from 2 Megapixel, while the latter is a 13 Megapixel telephoto lens that can guarantee an X2 optical zoom.
The Pro model will also be more powerful as it will be equipped with Qualcomm’s high-end Snapdragon 870 chip and 12 GB of RAM. The storage has also been revised up to 256 GB.
