Motorola announces 5 new smartphones between 200 and 550 euros Geekcomparison

Motorola is not afraid of the competition. Of course, in Italy the brand doesn’t have the market shares it once was, but it seems to have a lot of ambitions to make a difference. The manufacturer today launched not one, two, three or four smartphones, but five at the same time. Here it comes Moto G31, Moto G41, Moto G51, Moto G71 and Moto G200

Models for all tastes with prices ranging from 239 to 599 euros. Let’s start with some elements of the datasheet, from the cheapest to the most expensive model.

Motorola Moto G31: the entry level

In this family, the Moto G31 is the cheap smartphone that can offer a technical data sheet that remains interesting, especially for the use of an OLED screen.

  • 6.4-inch OLED display (60 Hz), Full HD +;
  • MediaTek G85 processor
  • 4GB RAM
  • 64 GB or 128 GB storage space (expandable)
  • Rear cameras: 50 megapixels (main), 8 megapixels (ultra wide-angle), 2 megapixels (macro)
  • Front camera: 13 Megapixel
  • 5000 mAh battery with 15W charger

Motorola Moto G41: the light version

The Motorola Moto G41 has the same features as the previous model with three subtle differences. First of all, the charging goes up to a power of 30W and the base memory up to 128 GB.

The third difference could also spark some interest: the main sensor will see its definition drop to 48 megapixels, but will have optical stabilization (OIS).

Motorola Moto G51: the cheap 5G

The Motorola Moto G51 aims to provide 5G compatibility without raising the price bar too much. For this reason, it sacrifices the OLED screen (but benefits from a better refresh rate).

Here are the essentials to remember:

  • 6.8-inch 120Hz, Full HD+ LCD display;
  • Snapdragon 480 Pro;
  • 4GB RAM;
  • 64 or 128 GB storage space (expandable);
  • Rear Cameras: 50 Megapixel (Main), 8 Megapixel (Ultra Wide), 2 Megapixel (Macro)Sensor
  • Front camera: 13 Megapixel
  • 5000 mAh battery with 15W charger

Motorola Moto G71: the entry level of quality

Again, for the Moto G71, Motorola takes a large chunk of the Moto G31 spec sheet, but with a few changes to note. The main difference is in the SoC, as this smartphone opts for a more powerful Snapdragon 695 processor combined with 6 GB of RAM, while the storage goes up to 128 GB (but without microSD support).

On the front, for selfies, the sensor also changes for a definition of 16 megapixels. There is also 5G.

Motorola Moto G200: the top

The Motorola Moto G200 clearly stands out. On the one hand, the rear design has a rather chamfered photographic module.

The quality of the technical data sheet, on the other hand, is generally of high beam

  • 6.8-inch 144Hz, Full HD+ LCD display;
  • Snapdragon 888+ processor;
  • 8GB RAM;
  • 128 GB storage space;
  • Rear Cameras: 108 Megapixel (Main), 13 Megapixel (Ultra Wide), 2 Megapixel (Macro)Sensor
  • Front camera: 13 Megapixel
  • 5000 mAh battery with 30W charger
