After several months of indiscretions and many rumors, it’s time for Facebook to lift the veil on the expected glasses associated with the companion of adventures Ray-Ban.
The most famous eyewear company in the world has published a mysterious ironic page indicating today’s date. The presentation of Facebook’s connected glasses is therefore imminent and fortunately it will not be too long to discover the glasses: the leaker Evan Blass has already published the images of the product on the Internet.
Meteor, Round and Wayfarer
Four models have been unveiled by Evan Blass and we immediately understand that it is a fashionable product for which it will be possible to choose different styles for what is ultimately the same product. In this we imagine the external design on which they are noticed two front cameras.
We can guess from these images that Ray-Ban glasses are technologically minimalist. We are far from augmented reality solutions like Hololens or Google Glass. Facebook has a more ambitious project in the pipeline codenamed Project Aria.
A latest pair of glasses revealed by Evan Blass is currently unnamed. It offers a bluish color and a rounded style.
Mark Zuckerberg’s video
To accompany Ray-Ban’s spot, billionaire Mark Zuckerberg posted a video to Facebook that we believe was shot straight from the glasses. During the 50-second short sequence, we discover a sequence of videos captured first-hand in an idyllic setting. Will this be the future?
