After a long wait, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is finally coming. There has been a lot of talk about the fact that Samsung’s new smartphone will be the first foldable device to enjoy the support of the S Pen, the South Korean company’s smart stylus. However, there is an important detail that is repeated by Samsung: Z Fold 3 is only compatible with S Pen Pro and S Pen Fold Edition.
The difference is in the tip: the new models are equipped with a soft and retractable tip, designed not to damage the screen in any way. The problem is not in the screen, which: thanks to a special protective film, it is 80% more resistant, but in older stylus models, not designed for use with the fold. However, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 operating system will notify the user if it tries to use an incompatible stylus and refuses to accept input.
