AppsUP, the new edition of Huawei’s developer competition – Geekcomparison

Huawei has announced the new edition of the annual AppsUP competitiona competition between developers to create innovative apps within the Huawei Mobile Services ecosystem.

Huawei AppsUp: innovation for everyone

This edition of AppsUp is dedicated to the theme of innovation, as the slogan says “HMS Innovation for everyone”† Participants from around the world will compete to create apps that can drive digital innovation. The winners can win cash prizes of up to $15,000, but most importantly international recognition. The top-ranked applications will be published, promoted and supported in the Huawei App Gallery.

The competition is not only open to experts, but also invites enthusiasts and students to participate. The last edition received a very wide participation, with the participation of more than 3000 teams from more than 170 different countries

To join AppsUP, all you need to do is register on the official competition page and submit your project before August 20, 2021. The only requirement is that your application uses the HMS Core functionality. The 20 best works from each country will be shown to the public, and the finalists are presented to the jury that will determine the winners based on criteria of functionality, innovation, social value and user experience.
