Amazon deal brings Sony WH-100XM4 wireless headphones to lowest price | GeekComparison

The best noise canceling headphones from Sony are currently available at the lowest price

Ars Technica

Today’s Dealmaster is topped off with a nice discount on Sony’s WH-1000XM4, as the high-quality wireless noise-cancelling headphones are currently priced at $278 at various retailers. That’s over $70 off Sony’s suggested retail price, about $50 off the regular street price online, and coupled with the biggest discount we’ve tracked so far, which we also saw on Black Friday.

Right now, the WH-1000XM4 are our top pick among noise canceling headphones. There are certainly better-sounding headphones out there for the price, but the XM4’s bass-forward sound is still enjoyable for those who like a boosted low-end, and it’s possible to adjust the audio profile via Sony’s companion app. . Anyway, the XM4s are very comfortable to wear for hours on end, have an excellent battery life of about 30 hours and have several useful features such as USB-C charging, a “speak to chat” function that is automatically muted music when you’re talking to someone else, and a great “ambient sound” mode that combines external noise with your music while you’re outside. Above all, their noise canceling quality is excellent, muffling the rumble of the lower frequencies and, to a lesser but still impressive degree, higher notes.

A pair like Bose’s Noise Canceling Headphones 700 have better call quality, more neutral sound and the ability to adjust the noise canceling strength, but overall we think Sony’s pair is the better deal, especially at this price. Elsewhere, our deals roundup also includes discounts on Apple’s M1 Mac Mini and Magic Keyboard, a budget pair of noise-cancelling headphones from Anker that we like, LG’s latest OLED TVs, and more.
